You are about to install ForkBB. In order to install ForkBB, you must complete the form set out below. If you encounter any difficulties with the installation, please refer to the documentation.

Database setup
All information we need to create a connection with your database.
Select a database. We support SQLite, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
You should be able to get this info from your web host, if localhost does not work.
localhost
The name of the database you want to install ForkBB on.
Your database username and password (ignore of SQLite).
The prefix may contain the letters a to z, any numbers and the underscore character. They must however start with a letter. The maximum length is 40 characters.
Administration setup
Create the very first account on your board.
The username must begin with a letter. May contain letters, numbers, spaces, dots, dashes and underscores.
Passphrase must contain a few words. Passphrase must be at least 16 characters long. Passphrase are case sensitive.

Settings for your board. You can change this later.
Cookie setup
Cookies are a mechanism for storing data by the user's browser, which is used for its identification.
If you specify a (sub)domain, then the cookies set by the board will be available on it and all its subdomains! www.example.com and example.com are not the same domain. www.example.com is a subdomain of example.com. Leave this field blank if the cookie should only be set for the board domain.
The path on the server in which the cookie will be available on. If set to /, the cookie will be available within the entire domain. If set to /foo/, the cookie will only be available within the /foo/ directory and all sub-directories such as /foo/bar/ of domain.
Indicates that the cookie should only be transmitted over a secure HTTPS connection from the client. When set to YES, the cookie will only be set if a secure connection exists.
